and feel envious.

but we fall here in the aera of labels:
dog-lovers, cat persons and such...
Must we feel this discrimination constantly,
feeling apart from one another,
when it is all a matter of love,
love between the two-legged & the four-legged,
whatever species they are?
Love is Love,
pure and simple!!

As much as I like his artwork,
would it kill him
to do a cat's portrait once in a while,
eh??
We are also quite photogenic!!

Still,
even if he's all about dawgz...
I won't have a bone to pick with him about this,
and just admire his work,

GUESS WHO CAME FOR DINNER ?!?

Last friday,
TICKLEBEAR kept teasing me,
saying we'd have company that evening.
We did indeed,
as he returned from work accompanied by Auntie Lucrecia!!
Yeah!!!

But I should hold the power of my charms in check
as I obviously remained the whole evening long
the center of attention.
Having my own two private paparazzi,
I indulged them
as I know I am just that irresistible...

And my generosity toward them paid off,
as I earned a cuddle with TICKLEBEAR,
though I would think I'm entitled to this anyway.
This was a fine evening
and I hope Auntie Lucrecia will soon return.

THE SCENT OF A MAN...

I was dozing off after catching up on my reading

of the latest issues of various magazines...

... when TICKLEBEAR showed up with the camera,
appearing in a playful mood.

Maybe I got a little too cozy with the guy,
because one whiff of his armpit sent me to sleep...

My latest adventure happened last sunday morning

& the title of this post is indicative of what had happened...

"a mere cat or a mercat?!?"

as I'm not just a mere cat,

TICKLEBEAR was kind enough to draw me my first bubble bath ever.
Well,
I thought this was the idea,
but when he gasped as i jumped in,
I figured perhaps this was not meant for me after all...
Despite that fact,
it was a glorious experience,
& keep it to yourself,
but...
I might do it again!!
I smell so nice right now,
& my fur feels so silky.
Sunday was a good day for me!!
